There are basically two main ways to get from Albq to Santa Fe. We took ole' Highway 14 - the Turquoise Trail. A little stop in the artist village of Madrid provides a needed refresher.
Hmm...the weather prior to Lori's arrival had been typical New Mexico; blue skies and maybe a cloud somewhere over there...

What's that - I read about it in a book once. Ah yes the pre-monsoon rains have arrived to greet Lori and later Chris!

The temperture drop was pretty impressive; leaving the plaza at 81 and eventually arriving at the top in the 60's
