This trip to San Antonio was a mix of
business (for Jan) and pleasure (for us both). We arrived on
Thursday and had a great dinner on the River walk. Friday Jan spent
the day in meetings and I worked on a work web site form the hotel room.
Friday night was another great dinner on the River Walk. Saturday we
took a drive out I-10 beyond the 1604 Anderson Loop and stumbled onto a
super golf course community called Fair View. Wow what a nice place.
Then back to San Antonio and a quick tour of the Botanical Gardens.
We stumbled onto an orchid show at the gardens and walked through some
really cool designed habitats. Back to the River Walk with a nice
table at 'Bulldogs' watching the people walk by while the margaritas
flowed. Sunday we drove back to Dallas.
