  Building the Vertical Stabilizer  

After months of doing nothing it was time to get back to it!  The last time Bill was down was in Feb.   Then we could only have one device turned on at a time and we needed to be bundled up because of the cold. Since then we've added an insulated garage door, high output lights and other features to our work space. 

We decided it made sense to do things slightly differently than called for in the plans.  The plans have you using blind rivets at some points.  In this part of the kit they are not flush rivets and are really ugly.  The order that we put everything together allowed us to use regular rivets and made the assembly process much easier.
